Defending the Faith

This course is designed to give students an introduction to the evidences for Historic Christianity. Students will learn how to Defend the Faith against critics of the Bible and Christianity.

The course curriculum is based upon the books “The Case for Christ” and “The Case for Faith” by Lee Strobel. A copy of these books will be supplied to the students as part of their course fees.

Some of the topics addressed by this course will be:

·        Can the gospels of Jesus really be trusted?
·        Does archaeology contradict or confirm the life of Jesus?
·        Was Jesus crazy when he claimed to be the Son of God?
·        Did Jesus really rise from the dead?
·        If God is good, then why is there evil and suffering in the world?
·        Isn’t it offensive to claim that Jesus is the only way to get to God?

These and many other questions and issues will be addressed during this course, to help students to think clearly and solidly regarding Christian Faith, and to be able to give an answer to those who would question or challenge historic Biblical Christianity.
