This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to undertake generic counselling work and a high level of communication utilising a range of therapies with a focus on Biblical Counselling. Participants will understand comprehensive assessment, referral processes, relevant legislation and a case management framework.
How Long? The course will be conducted in modules so that participants have the flexibility to do core units of interest or to continue in the pursuit of their Diploma of Counselling (18 months fulltime). The course includes one night per week face to face to consolidate home learning activities.
